From the Heart Class to Go

I am offering this card class that was created by fellow demonstrator Selene Kempton, a demonstrator from the Boston area who created it for an event she is involved in there. You can see photos of her event on her BLOG. She offered her wonderful tutorial to other demonstrators so we could also find a way to also promote breast cancer awareness, assistance and prevention in our communities. As an eight year survivor of breast cancer I want to spread the word! I am offering a Class to Go - all of the profit being donated, plus also donating 10% of my commission to two local causes. The first is Crop for a Cause. They are a group lead by a couple of fine ladies - Shelly and Stacie, who find various causes and hold crops to raise money for them. I have participated in many of them as a vendor and November 3 they happen to be having a crop that will benefit Lisa Cushing who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I will also donate a portion of the money I raise to Topeka Race Against Breast Cancer. They provide many things to educate and assist, but they are one of the places that women who cannot afford mammograms can go to for financial assistance.

If you'd like to help me out, you can get the Class to Go for $25 - the supplies and tutorial to make five cards shown above OR you can place a $60 order and receive the tutorial electronically for FREE. Again, I will donate my commission from these sales and all of the profit from the Class to Go to the two organizations mentioned above.

I found this on our demonstrator gallery and couldn't see a thing to change...I used a different greeting than they did, but it is really pretty and easy to put together!

Another one I found - almost the same card shown in the Holiday catalog - very nice and easy card. Sometimes the cards shown in the catalogs are a great place to start when creating. You can always change them up, using other colors or embellishments. The embossing folder is the best!

This one is from the Evergreen stamp set shown in the Holiday catalog. Isn't it lovely? Cindy Packard made this one for us, using the triple-time technique. If you would like to make this card for one of you choices, just list EVERGREEN for one of your choices and how many you'd like to make.

This one we will call Watercolor 1. Isn't it beautiful? Irma Andrew made this card for us...It is using the Festival of Prints paper stack and several other items from the Holiday catalog. There is a wonderful variety of prints in this paper stack, so you can choose which designer paper you'd like. If you would like to add a few of these to your card list, list Watercolor1 and how many you want to make.

 

 

Christmas card class almost ready!!!

I finally have sign ups for both card classes...the deadline for the early bird price for the Fall Fun class is this coming Sunday. I have a card class scheduled for Sept 21 and 22. You can sign up on my calendar page.

 

We will be doing 5 designs, 2 cards of each, at this class. I LOVE fall and I love leaves and one of my all time favorite sets made it into the annual catalog from LAST fall, so I will be using it, for sure. I will also use new Holiday catalog items for autumn. THANKS will be the main theme, but I will have other sentiments there. I will have a fun Halloween card and a treat or two for special little goblins in your life.

When: Friday, Sept 21 6:30-9:00pm & Saturday Sept 22, 9:00am-noon.

Cost: $25, but sign up by Sept 16 and you will just pay $20. All you need to bring is your own adhesive.

Finally! I am back to blogging

I am sorry to have been absentee for so long, but hopefully I will be able to at least get back to posting and stamping a few days a week. I just send out my long overdue Newsletter...I still need to get my link to the side updated, but I am having a card class Sept 21 & 22. New classes scheduled

I have put two classes on my schedule! One is later this month and the other is in September. I hope to be working on some video classes and my PJammie Stampers on-line Club in the months in between. I am also wanting to get another Mega Christmas/Holiday card class  scheduled, but will be looking for a larger space than I currently use.

This is a card that I featured in my newsletter, showing how the new Firm Foam ink pads give better ink coverage with much less effort. If YOU don't get my newsletter, be sure to sign up on the right side of this post. We made it at my New Catalog Party and also at the scrapbooking crop I was a vendor at this past weekend. Everyone LOVED it. ThIs card is showing all new products. Betsy's Blossom and Itty Bitty Banners stamp sets, Midnight Muse, Gumball green and Daffodil Delight inks and paper, Daffodil Delight Stitched grosgrain ribbon and the Sizzix Bitty Banner framelets.
