This special offer will be expiring Sunday July 31. Are you going to take advantage of this great deal? Stampin' Up! just released a new catalog and it is an exciting time to be a demonstrator...we get to see lots of new products and ideas, our customers get excited about getting to see what is new, too. It can be kind of a fresh start, so part of my "New Years resolution" is to make goals for myself and formulate a sort of mission statement of why I am doing this and where I want to steer my business.
Stampin' Up! has really made some great changes in the rewards that demonstrators can earn for their sales and recruiting. Now, I have never been much on recruiting...I don't know why really, I love Stampin' Up! - the products, the company, the people I have interacted with - all great. Lately, I have become a lot more focused on becoming PROFITABLE and I am getting more comfortable with the idea of having an business downline that I can assist if they have similar goals. I have had a few customers sign up under me and for the most part, they have wanted to just be able to purchase products and get the discount. That is great. That is what I started out to do, too, over 9 years ago. Now, I know that this is a business I can have control over...having fun, sharing what we love and loving what we do and getting paid for it, too!
To get more details about the current Starter Kit offer and more about what I do and how you can do it, too, read about it here and see what all is included in this special priced kit and how you can make it yours!
Plus as a bonus, you will receive a special Christmas Keepsake Box Kit. Clic on the picture to see what you will receive.
If I can answer any questions that you have about the comittment or the company, give me a call or if you know that this is for you, go NOW to my Stampin Up Web Site to sign up.

One of the great things about being a demonstrator, we get to see (and order) some of the new items from upcoming mini catalogs. I know it is only July, but September 1, the Holiday Mini will be out and while you may think that Christmas is the "holiday" being referred to, this mini will also have fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving ideas and products in it. NOW, Spetember will be when you want to get going on some special, fun Holiday projects!
Since my kids are older, I am not as into Halloween as I once was...we never really went for the really scarey stuff, but I have always thought that it was fun to come up with creative costumes and treats. We live out in the country, so we never had kids coming to our door, but my mom did, so we always went there. She still lives in the same house I grew up in and several of the same neighbors are still around, so it was a time for me to be able to say "Hi!" and catch up a little bit on their kids, etc...
I really want to jumpstart my Stampin Up schedule once we are back from our scuba trip and things get back into a regular routine. Summer always seems to throuw things off for everyone - must be all of extra daylight! I would love to have a workshop together and do some fun fall projects for you and your friends. Don't know what is involved in having a workshop? Here is some information and answers to some of the questions you may have about it.

Here is my card from last weeks color challenge that I got from Splitcoaststampers - Rich Razzelberry, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo. I combined it with the Mojo 200 sketch from yesterday. I used the Summer Mini Hostess set, Love & Care plus a new set Field Flowers...I actually used the sentiment thinking that it was from the Love & Care set - doesn't matter, I still really like it.
It was a little hard for me to use three bright colors on a flower card. I will edit this post with the supplies I used later. It is after midnight and I have to finish up cutting some corn for the freezer. YUM!
Anyway, have a good week!
***I just looked at other entries and they are really great! There is one very similar to mine, I swear I did not go off of it...great minds think alike!

I am taking a "business class" that includes evaluating what I want to do with my Stampin Up!business and why. I have been thinking about my goals and trying to be specific. It got me thinking about why I started doing this to begin with - I have to say that it was two-fold. First, I wanted to get into scrapbooking and had to start somewhere. I saw so much potential with stamps and ink, especially for backgrounds. I really like to look at a scrapbook page in a magazine then figure out how I could duplicate it with stamps, paper and ink..
Second, I like showing other people how to do the same thing. I have been doing it more with cards than scrapbook pages because it just seems easier to appeal to everyones taste. Scrapbooking is so personalized and pictures are in every color and TO ME it is a challenge to come up with something everyone can use or like. Everyone can use cards, so that is what I do.
So what is my goal? Well, I am going to come up with several, but the first one is to DO MORE SCRAPBOOKING! I have tons of photos that are sorted basically by family members and now have a grandson that has to be featured!I have everything I need and just need to make the time.
I am going to set aside a few hours a week and complete at least 2 pages each and every week. Heck, that would be over 100 pages in a year! I will share my first two pages on the 16th! How is that for comittment.
That's it for now, I will close with a fun photo of my little guy...Close to a year ago, hard to believe
Here is the little guy now (well, in May). He is such a happy boy!
What is a goal that you'd like to set?...something you have the best intentions of doing, but just never get around to it.
Peace...
