Pool Party, Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi Mojo #201

Here is my card for the Mojo Monday 201 challenge. I also used a color challenge (CC332) from over at SplitCoastStampers again. Last week it was using Pool Party, Wild Wasabi and Chocolate Chip

 
plus a neutral - I used Sahara Sand, although I guess the Whisper White is one too. Anyway, I used Flower Fest...a stamp set that is in the Summer Mini catalog that happened to get into the regular catalog. It goes with six different punches that we carry, so stamping and punching them out is a great way to really make the flowers pop off your card or page.

I used some Wild Wasabi TEXTURED cardstock and for the patterned paper for the left panel of the card is made from random stamping some of the images in three of the colors. The Top of the card is using the large flower, inked in Pool Party (color on color).The sentiment is from one of the new hostess reward sets that you can get with part of your hostess rewards. It is called Happiest Birthday Wishes and has eleven images, of course all BIRTHDAY. I inked the whole image in Pool Party the "rock-n-rolled it in the Wild Wasabi, to get the color around the edge. I don't have the 2-3/8" scallop circle punch, so I had to cut the large flower out...not too tough. Ha...I just noticed that I did not use my Big Shot! Oh, well maybe next time.

My card for the MOJO Monday 200

Here is my card from last weeks color challenge that I got from Splitcoaststampers - Rich Razzelberry, Pumpkin Pie and Melon Mambo. I combined it with the Mojo 200 sketch from yesterday. I used the Summer Mini Hostess set, Love & Care plus a new set Field Flowers...I actually used the sentiment thinking that it was from the Love & Care set - doesn't matter, I still really like it. 
  It was a little hard for me to use three bright colors on a flower card. I will edit this post with the supplies I used later. It is after midnight and I have to finish up cutting some corn for the freezer. YUM!

***I just looked at other entries and they are really great! There is one very similar to mine, I swear I did not go off of it...great minds think alike!

How about a Color Challenge?

Color Challenge

Here is a great color challange...I am going to work on it tomorrow.

I have had a great day today...got to wear scuba gear and breathe under water fir the first time, which was really cool. I got to spend time with my 10 month grandson and that was great. Looking forward to a good nights sleep and NO ALARM in the morning. Hope you are having a great weekend, too. Take care!
