From the Heart Class to Go

I am offering this card class that was created by fellow demonstrator Selene Kempton, a demonstrator from the Boston area who created it for an event she is involved in there. You can see photos of her event on her BLOG. She offered her wonderful tutorial to other demonstrators so we could also find a way to also promote breast cancer awareness, assistance and prevention in our communities. As an eight year survivor of breast cancer I want to spread the word! I am offering a Class to Go - all of the profit being donated, plus also donating 10% of my commission to two local causes. The first is Crop for a Cause. They are a group lead by a couple of fine ladies - Shelly and Stacie, who find various causes and hold crops to raise money for them. I have participated in many of them as a vendor and November 3 they happen to be having a crop that will benefit Lisa Cushing who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I will also donate a portion of the money I raise to Topeka Race Against Breast Cancer. They provide many things to educate and assist, but they are one of the places that women who cannot afford mammograms can go to for financial assistance.

Again, I will donate my commission from these sales and all of the profit from the Class to Go to the two organizations mentioned above.

I found this on our demonstrator gallery and couldn't see a thing to change...I used a different greeting than they did, but it is really pretty and easy to put together!

Another one I found - almost the same card shown in the Holiday catalog - very nice and easy card. Sometimes the cards shown in the catalogs are a great place to start when creating. You can always change them up, using other colors or embellishments. The embossing folder is the best!

This one is from the Evergreen stamp set shown in the Holiday catalog. Isn't it lovely? Cindy Packard made this one for us, using the triple-time technique. If you would like to make this card for one of you choices, just list EVERGREEN for one of your choices and how many you'd like to make.

This one we will call Watercolor 1. Isn't it beautiful? Irma Andrew made this card for us...It is using the Festival of Prints paper stack and several other items from the Holiday catalog. There is a wonderful variety of prints in this paper stack, so you can choose which designer paper you'd like. If you would like to add a few of these to your card list, list Watercolor1 and how many you want to make.

 

 

New classes scheduled

I have put two classes on my schedule! One is later this month and the other is in September. I hope to be working on some video classes and my PJammie Stampers on-line Club in the months in between. I am also wanting to get another Mega Christmas/Holiday card class  scheduled, but will be looking for a larger space than I currently use.

This is a card that I featured in my newsletter, showing how the new Firm Foam ink pads give better ink coverage with much less effort. If YOU don't get my newsletter, be sure to sign up on the right side of this post. We made it at my New Catalog Party and also at the scrapbooking crop I was a vendor at this past weekend. Everyone LOVED it. ThIs card is showing all new products. Betsy's Blossom and Itty Bitty Banners stamp sets, Midnight Muse, Gumball green and Daffodil Delight inks and paper, Daffodil Delight Stitched grosgrain ribbon and the Sizzix Bitty Banner framelets.

Counting Down...

Trying to get so much done before I go to San Antonio to attend the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference...I will be headed out in just over a week! If you do not get my Newsletter, you should sign up ASAP so you can be up to date! My newsletter will go out tomorrow; I just need to get one photo uploaded from the card class that I am planning for Feb 3-4. The class is now on my calendar and you can sign up and pay for it by Paypal or send me a check. Pay by the 22nd and you will asve $5 ($20 instead of $25). Occassions Mini has begun and Sale-a-Bration will start Jan 24th.

I have really enjoyed the past week, although just about all of us has been sick...nothing anyone would want to hear about, but I think we are all about over it. We went to the KC zoo today - first time in about 10 years...maybe more. My oldest daughter heads back to Chicago early in the morning and I suppose everything will return back to normal. I have to get busy planning my next class and doing a BUNCH of SWAPS for the Leadership Training that I get to go to in just 3 WEEKS!! Five days in San Antonio - what fun! I plan to get busy and get stamping this weekend. I have lots of new toys to play with from the Occasions Mini catalog and Sale-a-bration Brochure. My next card class will be Feb 3 and 4. regular variety of cards - 10 cards (5 different cards - 2 of each design)for $25 or if you pay by January 28 and you can get $5 off - ONLY $20 for 10 ready to send cards!

Three fun cards!

Here are three cards that I did for a workshop this past weekend. I love them all! I will post more details later, but I wanted to get them posted! Don't forget that the earlybird discount for my Crristmas card class ends this coming Sunday. I have 2-3 spaces left for Friday night and 4 for Saturday.

   

 



Easel Card for my Christmas cards class

So, I made a version of my own, of the Easel card in my Twelve Weeks of Christmas project from this past week. I really like it and am considering using this version for my Christmas card class in November. The inside would have a photo where the white sheet is. 

After I was taking these photos, I thought that I could use the belly band across the top of the "frame". Notice what I made the pinecones with? Saw that on another demonstrators site and thought it was a great idea!
